This page will contain information about the event we used to sponsor in March called March Hare. It was so called after the rabbits that were on one of the versions of the shire arms, one the heraldic establishment bounced for bad heraldic style. You can see a version of it on the Shire Past Heraldry page.
The very old tradition of holding an event in March is one reason Hrim-Schola has been (with the exception of one year) a March event.
The first March Hare was held in 1985, at a residence; 36 people attended. Aurora was the autocrat and Thora was the head cook.
In 1986 the March Hare event was held at a firehouse. Shera was the autocrat and Aislinn (under the name Elspeth nic Ian) was the head cook.
